Building a great tutor profile will help you increase your profile score. This is a score up to 100% which you can see in your statistics page.

  • Eliminate any background noise to ensure good sound quality

  • Make it informative and engaging

Description

Your description provides learners with important information about your personality, experience, teaching methods and what your lessons will look like. Follow these tips to write a compelling description:

  • Write an eye-catching headline highlighting your specialty and something unique about you, as students pay particular attention to headlines while scrolling

  • Make your description structured and easy to follow

  • Avoid writing unnecessary information - it should be student-centered and related to teaching

  • Add the description in another language if you have this option in ‘My profile’ - ‘Description’ as it could help you reach more potential students

  • Create a clear call to action at the end of your description, asking learners to check out your profile, reach out to you or book a trial

  • Remember to check your description carefully for any grammar, punctuation or spelling mistakes
