How do I edit my profile?

Learn how to update your profile data

To edit your tutor profile, go to My profile menu.

There are 6 main sections:

  • About

  • Photo

  • Description

  • Video

  • Subjects

  • Background

Updating your profile information

After your profile has been approved on Rihisi, you can still update or edit it at any time. Our Tutor Success team will review and approve the changes to the main sections of your profile, to ensure that they meet our requirements.

We will review any changes to the following sections:

  • Photo

  • Video introduction

  • Profile headline

  • Profile description

  • Subjects section

  • Certificates

The updates will be visible after the changes are checked manually and approved by our Tutor Success team. It usually takes 3 to 5 business days for the team to check the changes you submit.

If your updates are not approved, you will receive an email from Rihisi containing further guidance.

The following changes can be made without reviewing:

  • Phone number

  • Hourly rate

  • Time zone

  • Preferred student age

  • Preferred level of students

  • Educational background

Some parts of your profile are locked for editing after your profile is approved -

If you would like to change your name, country of origin, the subject you teach, please contact our Support Team. All approved languages you speak are locked as well, so if you need to update the language level that was approved before, please reach out to our Support Team as well.
