Adding certificates to your profile

You can upload certificates to your profile during the registration process, or if you’re already an approved tutor.

❗ Please note: certificates and education diplomas are different things. To learn how to upload a diploma, please refer to this page.

To upload your certificate:

  1. Select the subject

  2. Choose the certificate from the drop-down menu, or choose “Other” if the certificate is not in the list

  3. Provide the name, description and issue date of your certificate

  4. Make sure you follow this checklist, so your certificate is approved:

✅ Upload a high-resolution document that states your name, name of the certificate and the year it was issued

✅ Ensure the name and surname on the certificate match your profile name

✅ Double check that the information you submitted corresponds to the original version of the document

✅ Upload your certificate to the correct section (Certificates)

✅ Upload each document one time only

You will receive an email stating whether your certificate has been approved on the Rihisi website.

    Unacceptable certificates

❌ Certificates of appreciation of employment, work experience, masterclass

    ❌ Expired certificates

❌ Certificates issued from another online teaching platform

Once your Certificate is verified, it will be displayed on your Rihisi profile as a verified document with a green badge.

  5. Great tutors never stop growing and aim to continuously improve their knowledge and skills. To support your professional development and make your profile more attractive, we created a free certification course called How to teach a language. The course takes around 5–6 hours to complete and if you pass the end-of-course test, we will award you the Rihisi Language Teaching Certificate.

❗ Note that the certificate is not accredited by other institutions and therefore is not accepted outside Rihisi.
