Tips and recommendations to help you engage the new student after the first lesson and make them book the next lesson with you

If your student hasn’t bought more hours with you yet, send them a friendly follow-up message the day after your trial lesson.

If your student has already bought more hours with you, thank them and summarize the learning plan you agreed to.

Then, encourage them to schedule weekly lessons. Our data shows that students who set up weekly lessons take classes more frequently and tend to keep learning for longer!

Now your learning journey has really begun. Here are some top tips for keeping your students on the road to success:

  1. Always set homework and go through the answers in the next lesson

  2. Regularly ask your student for feedback on your lessons

  3. Stay organized by using the Notes section of the Rihisi classroom

  4. Complete progress tests with your student to demonstrate how far they’ve come
