Please note: Cancellation policy is not applicable for trial lessons.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, technical issues, or other emergencies, students might not be able to attend the lesson.
If a student misses a lesson, the tutor is able to charge the student for that particular lesson within 7 days after the scheduled lesson time. Alternatively, a tutor can cancel/reschedule a lesson.
If a tutor decides to charge the student, money for the lesson will be transferred to the tutor’s Rihisi account within 72 hours after the claim, unless the student files a dispute.
12 hours before the scheduled time, students are able to cancel/ reschedule the lesson for free.
After this period, only the full cost cancellation option is available for the student.
In order to charge a student for a lesson, please go to the 'My lessons' menu and click on the student's picture. The option 'Charge student' will be visible from the drop-down menu.
Please note that the payment may not be released automatically in the following cases:
The issue was reported within 72 hours after the tutor clicked 'Charge student' (either by the tutor or the student)
The lesson was scheduled/rescheduled by the tutor
The lesson was created according to recurrent lesson settings
We recommend you to keep a constant communication with your students to make sure they are aware of the lessons being scheduled and approve the dates of those lessons in messages.
If the lesson took place, but the student did not confirm it, please kindly remind the students to confirm the lessons or contact our support team, so we could confirm on our side if it has been 72 hours after the scheduled lesson time.
Note: In case your student missed more than 1 lesson (automatically scheduled by weekly lesson feature), please contact your student to confirm their presence on the next lesson.
In case of no response from the student, please cancel upcoming weekly lessons or reach out to our support team for the cancellation.
