In the classroom, you can begin to plan your lessons using any of the Rihisi courses and lesson plans. Here’s how to access the classroom and prepare for lessons, in 3 simple steps:

  1. Enter the classroom by clicking ‘Learning plans’ in the header, then choose a student.

  2. Check your students' course and choose the lesson topic.

  3. Remind your student to complete the self-study activities for homework.

Step 1: Enter the classroom by clicking ‘Learning plans’ in the header, then choose a student.

Choose a student from the menu in the left side of the classroom. If you just want to look around and explore the tools in the classroom, choose ‘Demo room.’

Step 2: Check your student’s course and choose the topic for the next lesson.

Make sure your student has a suitable course selected for their level and interests.

If your student has already chosen a course, you’ll see the next lesson topic at the top of the agenda. This might be a topic they chose, or it might be a default topic. To see the name of their course and other topics you can suggest for the next lesson, click ‘Change’ next to the lesson topic:

If the student hasn’t chosen their course, you can suggest one for their level and goal using the menus in the agenda.

After the student’s course is chosen, you can always suggest a change by using the menu in the agenda. Be aware that if your student has reordered or added topics to their course, any changes will be reset when you change the course.

If you want to suggest a lesson topic that’s not in the student’s course, you can open the library and add it to the lesson.

Step 3: Remind your student to complete the self-study activities or any other task.

Send a message to let your students know if they need to do any homework before the lesson.

After preparing, the next step is to teach! Learn more about starting and teaching lessons in the classroom.
