What is Rihisi Tutors Academy?

Rihisi Tutors Academy has free, on-demand courses for Rihisi tutors to understand how Rihisi works and get useful teaching tips. The Tutor Academy is not on Rihisi’s website, it is available on Thinkific.

Why does it show “Your Student Dashboard” if I’m a tutor?

Your account on Rihisi Tutors Academy is separate from your teaching account on Rihisi. You can access your tutor account on Rihisi here.

How can I unsubscribe from Thinkific/Rihisi Tutor Academy emails?

Log in to your student account
Select your name in the top right corner
Select My account in the dropdown menu
Select Notifications on the left
To turn off a notification, uncheck the box to the left of the description
Choose Save changes

Where can I register for live webinars?

To register for live webinars with Rihisi’s expert tutor trainers, choose the webinar you’re interested in and register with your Rihisi email address.

Are all Rihisi courses and webinars in English?

Yes, all the professional development courses and webinars are currently only available in English.

How can I cancel my webinar registration if I’m not able to attend?

After you register, you will receive an email confirmation where you can cancel your registration. We recommend registering for the next available session if you cannot attend.

How do I join the webinar?

All webinars happen in Zoom. You will find a link to Zoom in your webinar confirmation email.

Why can't I join the webinar?

If you go to Zoom and there isn’t a webinar, you may have joined at the wrong time. Please note that live webinars are held in Madrid time. You can register for the next session, and use a time zone converter to make sure you can attend.

What if the webinar times are not convenient for me?

If you cannot attend webinars live, you can choose to watch the webinar recordings on your own time. Register for the webinar, and you will receive an email with the webinar recording and presentation 24 hours after the webinar.

When can I start teaching if I have completed the courses on Tutors Academy?

Students can book lessons with you as soon as your Rihisi profile is approved. You do not need to complete the courses to start teaching, but it is highly recommended — research shows tutors who pass onboarding courses perform much better!
