Wise
Withdrawal method in details
To learn the steps for withdrawing earnings via Wise, see our article on ways to withdraw funds.
Withdraw funds in your local currency
Your balance on Rihisi is stored in USD. When you make a withdrawal via Wise, your funds are converted from USD to your local currency, then deposited directly in your local bank account in local currency.
Exchange rate
Wise uses the mid-market exchange rate, the same rate banks use to trade between one another. They pull this rate live from Reuters every second, and don’t charge a spread on the exchange rate. You can check the current exchange rate here.
Supported currencies
Wise withdrawals must be made in the local currency of the country where your bank account was opened. Please make sure that your currency is on the list of currencies supported by Wise. Note that the following currencies are not currently supported for payouts: BDT, BRL, BWP, CNY, COP, GHS, INR, KES, LKR, NGN, PEN, PKR, TZS, UAH, UGX, XOF, ZMW.
Transfer time
Depending on your currency and country, your bank will receive the withdrawal within 1–2 business days. Your bank may take additional time to process and display your funds.
Fees
Wise is transparent about their fees. The fees for making a withdrawal via Wise depends on the currency route. To calculate the fees you’ll be charged for a withdrawal:
Visit the Wise pricing calculator
Select Multi-currency account and Send money options
Choose the currency you’re transferring your earnings to (‘You send’ should remain as USD)
Add the amount you’re planning to withdraw
