The identity verification step is a part of our continuous efforts to ensure the security of our students and tutors.

Starting from October 5, 2020, all the new Rihisi tutors and the tutors who have been approved between November 1, 2019, and January 28, 2020, will need to verify their identity prior to withdrawing their earnings.

Verification consists of the following steps:

  1. Access the verification page.

There are 3 places in your profile where you can start the verification process. You can choose any of them to begin.

a. On the 'Statistics' page:

b. In 'My Profile' > 'Background':

c. From the 'Withdraw Money' button under the wallet in the header (if applicable):
2. After you click on the 'Get verified now' button', you will be asked to take a photo of your passport or any government-issued document that can verify your identity (e.g. driver's license).

Please note that:

  • photos taken beforehand cannot be uploaded - you must take a photo of your ID during the online verification process.

  • we kindly ask you to ensure that there is proper lighting, and the information in your ID is seen clearly.

  • if your photos are not verified the first time, try again following the instructions on the screen.

3. Congrats, you’re a verified tutor now!

Your personal data will only be available to Rihisi staff, and all uploaded files will be instantly removed from the system after the verification process is completed. Rihisi takes the security of your personal data very seriously.

Please note that there are some restrictions for applications, according to our platform’s policies. After the verification process, profiles that do not adhere to these policies might be blocked.

The restrictions include:

  • The applicant must be 18 years of age or older.

  • In order to comply with the U.S. regulations, Rihisi is not allowed to partner with nationals from the following countries/regions: Iran, Sudan, Cuba, Syria, North Korea, Crimea. However, if a tutor comes from one of these countries but has a residency in another country, that is not in the list above, we kindly invite them to verify their account with a document issued by that country.
