How to solve technical issues with Rihisi App

App is crashing

Here are a few steps you can follow to solve the issue:

1. Restart the app

2. Restart the device

3. Check app version (it should be updated to the latest version)

4. Erase the app and re-install

5. It is problematic to download and use Rihisi app with Huawei devices that have no official Google Play Market. If you have such device, we recommend using only desktop version of Rihisi

Video and audio issues

Check your App permissions for microphone and camera:

In case you're using an Android device, open the Settings app:

  • Tap Apps & notifications.

  • Tap Rihisi app to review.

  • Tap Permissions.
    If a permission is turned off, the switch next to it will be gray and try to reload the app.

To check your app permissions on IOS:

  • Go to Settings —> Privacy. A list of different categories, such as Location Tracking, Bluetooth, Contacts, Microphone, Camera and more will appear. Rihisi App should be on the list of Camera and Microphone permissions.

To add permissions for Camera/Microphone, connect to Rihisi Classroom and buttons 'Enable microphone/camera' will appear. After pressing the button, the system automatically requests permissions on your device.

- If you connected the headphones after the lesson started, there may be audio issues. In this case it’s best to close the app, connect the headphones again, and start the lesson.
