Lesson summary
Learn the perks of Lesson summary and how to use them
What is the Lesson Summary?
The Lesson Summary is a learning report which you can fill in during each lesson to give structured feedback to your students such as error correction, new vocabulary, and grammar, as well as homework and objectives for the next lesson.
Its main purpose is to consolidate the learning objectives. A lesson summary is a place on Rihisi where the tutor can give structured feedback to the student during each lesson as an essential part of effective learning.
Why use the Lesson Summary?
It states the learning objectives of the session and keeps you and your student on track to achieve those goals. It helps students understand new concepts, gives them clear guidance on how to improve their learning and gives homework. It is stored on Rihisi so students can access it at any time. It will feel tailored as it will show personalized reports. It is motivational as it shows them what has been achieved in the lesson, and it sets a goal for the next lesson which should increase the number of hours booked.
How to use the Lesson Summary?
We recommend you have it open throughout the lesson and fill it in with the student to focus on new vocabulary and error correction. We suggest you spend the last 10 minutes of each lesson wrapping up the class with your student while using this report.
How to find Lesson Summary?
Tutors can access it by going to the Notes section in Rihisi Classroom.
Students can find lesson summary in Learn tab > Notes > Click on Specific lesson
