Discover how you receive payment for conducted lessons

A completed lesson should be confirmed by the student to release payment to the tutor's account.

Good news! If the lesson was conducted through Rihisi Classroom, it will be confirmed automatically.

If the lesson took place on another video-chat platform, students shall receive a confirmation email reminder immediately after each lesson. If the lesson remains unconfirmed, you can make use of the confirmation reminder.

In order to send a confirmation reminder, please follow the steps below:

  • Go to My lessons menu

  • Find your student’s name from the list

  • Click the three dots button (...) and choose 'Remind to confirm'

  • We have also recently implemented a new feature - autoconfirmation of lessons. From now on, Rihisi will confirm students' lessons automatically 72 hours after the scheduled end time unless they report an issue.

    When a lesson is confirmed, the tutor gets paid. Students can choose what lessons will be autoconfirmed:

    • Only lessons scheduled by the student;

    • All the lessons, including weekly lessons and lessons scheduled or rescheduled by the tutor.

    Students can set their lesson autoconfirmation preferences in the Settings menu, under the Autoconfirmation section.

  • With the autoconfirmation in place, a lesson needs to be confirmed manually if issues about the lesson have been reported through Report issue function, or if a student has chosen to not autoconfirm regular weekly lessons and lessons scheduled or rescheduled by tutor.

    If the lesson is awaiting confirmation for more than 3 days, our customer support team can then assist you in confirming the lesson from our side upon request. In order to do so, please provide us with the proof of the lesson (screenshots from Skype/another video-chat platform, the lesson date/time, as well as the call duration of the lesson).

  • Confirmation by mistake

    Students should confirm the lessons only if the lesson has been conducted. However, on rare occasions, students mistakenly confirm lessons that did not happen.

    Unfortunately, once the lesson is confirmed, the payment is released to the tutor's account and we cannot undo the action. In this case, please kindly get in touch with the student and arrange a class without scheduling on the calendar to compensate for the released payment.
